Dr Paul Buckley
Meet Dr Paul R. Buckley, a postdoctoral researcher.
Dr Paul R. Buckley is a postdoctoral researcher in Computational Immunology at King’s College London. He is part of CGC Team SAMBAI, which aims to decode factors that cause and influence disparate cancer outcomes in underserved populations of African descent. At KCL, Paul leads the computational research in the laboratories of Dr Sheeba Irshad (Breast Immunology) and Dr Piers Patten (Lymphoma Biology). His work leverages state-of-the-art methodologies — e.g. spatial multiplexed imaging, high-dimensional flow and mass cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing etc — to investigate tumour–immune interactions and mechanisms of immune escape across tissue (tumour and lymph node) and blood.
