Meet Nicole, a patient advocate on NexTGen
Nicole Croft is the mother of Freddie, who was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing Sarcoma in 2019 when he was 6 years old. She runs Freddie’s Future through The Bone Cancer Research Trust to help fund research for better treatment options for Ewing Sarcoma.
Freddie had tumours in his chest wall, spine, base of skull and lungs. He received 14 cycles of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiotherapy. He is now doing well but lives with the side effects of his brutal treatment.
