Meet Malcolm, member of the Future Leaders Working Group
Dr Malcolm Holterhus is a postdoctoral scholar in Dr Majzner's lab at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As an MD in paediatric oncology he is fascinated by the clinical success of CAR T cell therapy in hematologic malignancies. His research in Team NexTGen now focusses on developing novel CAR T cell based therapies for solid paediatric tumours. This includes target identification and engineering of safe and specific CAR T cell constructs through utilizing the intracellular signalling machinery of the T-cell receptor.
